Rein’s never fails. Food is always good, high quality, well packaged. Just wish their prices weren’t rising so quickly

I've been enjoying Rein's authentic, quality, NY- style deli delights for 50 years now, mostly during my frequent trips back and forth between the greater NYC area and Massachusetts.
I don't travel that route much so I haven't been for a while. But I got a chance today to have one of their excellent corned beef sandwiches and a super-tasty potato knish delivered to a hotel I'm in the next town over. It's every bit as good as I recall, maybe evebn better.
I love corned beef but hate fat. I used to have to ask for "extra lean." Now they have it as a separate menu item called "first cut" and it's the absolutely most fat-free corned beef I've ever had, but still 100% moist and delicious.
Both items came well-wrapped, toasty war, with a surprise half-sour pickle on the side .

Normally we love Reins. This time was terrible. The sandwhich was impossible to eat. The bottom piece of bread was so small the entire thing feel apart. Super dry.. So so disappointed especially since it was over 15 just for the samdwhich. Boyfriend said Pot pie was good.

Literally shared two pickles and ate them all. I dont even like pickles that much the absolute best! 1stCut Pastrami Rachael is made with the most high quality ingredients, perfectly toasted, wrapped well to not be soggy. Chefs kiss!!

I picked this order up on my way home from work, not only is the restaurant nice and has all kinds of things prepacked and otherwise. I got the Corned Beef Reuben was and it was the best Reuben I have had in many years. It was big enough to have in two sittings, for me, and the Russian sauce set off the flavors beautifully. Highly recommend, will order this again.
