• 27/11/24I'd been searching all over the local Norfolk area for a fresh hot Chicharrón, and I hadn't been able to find a good spot.
But, I saw a picture of the Chuleta Can Can, and thought this is too good to be true! I was totally wrong - the order was amazing and even the packaging was top notch. The pork skin was crunchy and delicious, and they paired it with a fresh zesty sauce. If you like pork skins or chicharrónes, you'll love this dish. Think - pork skin with some of the lean pork chop meat.
The rice and Beans (Red or Black) were a perfect pairing to the main dish, and maduros were heavenly. I will definitely be ordering again.

• 15/8/24The Cuban Sandwich is crazy good with lots of flavor! The Pernil (shredded pork) is tender and not dry. Bread is soft, not dry. If you like Cuban Sandwiches, this is THE BEST! The Empanadas (2) are always large and can be a meal in itself. And the Chuletas Fritas are always fried just right with great flavor . This restaurant never disappoints!

• 23/10/24Ordered Pernil Al Horno, Yellow Rice & Beans along with some Maduros. Let me tell you, how DELICIOUS it always is! Never disappoints, always flavorful. Although the portion of rice runs small, I always order a side of the Yellow rice. El Rincon Tropical is a must try! I'd pick this place over La Yaroa resturant any time any day!

• 27/10/24I ordered Pollo Guisado and Maduros. The chicken was so tender and delicious. I ordered rice and beans with my chicken. It was all so delicious. I need to eat this more often and I will be ordering from this restaurant again.

• 27/3/25The Cuban sand is always a hit for me bc the pernil is just how I like it. The Chuletas and beans are always a favorite of my husband's. He's Puerto Rican and we always come here when he's missing home. He love the beans that come with any meal.
