Their food is consistently excellent.
I usually order a bean rice & cheese burrito. It IS ALWAYS delicious and their homemade tortillas & hot sauce...great.

• 7/11/25I'm not sure if it was a different chef or the time of the day, but these California burritos were not on par with the other ones I have ordered from this el tarasco location. I am really disappointed because they were the only place in town that makes one correctly, SD style, with all of the correct ingredients in the correct quantities. What I received today was all super dry carne asada/gristle, 2 French fries, and nowhere near enough sour cream and guac to compensate for the leather boot carne. This was the only place that had quality Cali burrits in the area, and these were just as bad as every other "California burrito" I've had in the SouthBay. I hope it was just the night chef or something. Beware if you're accustomed to the good stuff.

• 30/5/26Usually, I can count on a great meal here. But I got a two cheese enchilada plate and there was maybe 2 tablespoons of enchilada sauce on the entire thing. I'm not sure I would risk ordering enchiladas here again.

• 6/6/26No seasoning on meat, barely any beans and the should use queso instead of shredded cheese. Not worth the price for the amount of food you get. I mean I would've been happy if it had more beans.

• 21/6/26I have a bunch of kids the 10 crunchy tacos were perfect for the feed! The tacos were large and very filling!
