After sampling nearly all of the Indian in the East Bay, I can honestly say that Saroor is by far and away the best!! Their lamb pasanda and garlic naan is out of this world. I also appreciate that when you ask for Indian spicy they actually make it spicy. I like that the food is made to order, so it's always fresh. It's worth the wait!!

FABULOUS!!! By far the best Indian food I've ever had, and I'm pushing 70! Wish I could give it seven stars. The chicken and spinach are fantastic: tender chicken, and beautifully spiced. The rice is perfectly fluffy, with a hint of something extra. Easily enough for three people. Meant to order for tomorrow, as I had a late lunch. So I haven't yet tried the veggie samosas or mint sauce; They both look fantastic! Bonus that the food arrived beautifully packaged, and piping hot. I have a new favorite restaurant. BRAVO to the new owners!

everything was nice and warm
packed well but the chicken vindaloo was not spicy at all was looking forward to hot
and spicy still delicious. they always give great portions. rice was a
little salty but not a huge issue. still my
fave spot.

I typically order a lamb dish, lamb spinach in particular. Other regulars are the soups, samosas and breads. Haven't had anything but good experiences. I know we're having record heat, but lots of options for hot weather. Great value too. Highly recommended!

The Lamb Kabab Masala Curry was tasty but hardly any lamb and what was there was a bit tough. The Pappadams were stale. We have been ordering from Saroor for years but it feels like the quality is going down.
