The upcharge for a substitution that, by the way, used to be a 2fer is a little steep but still has good value.

The shrimp n' Parmesan sirloin the shrimp was not good. The steak was not medium well , it was beyond well done it tasted like rubber. The steak was hard and mac & cheese that I got tasted very bland. Did not taste fresh and the portion of shrimp I got compared to the steak is ridiculous

My sides (mashed potatoes and coleslaw) were really good, but these riblets were just nasty. The menu said they are slow cooked, so I thought the meat would be tender and falling off the bone. Definitely not. It was tough and had the texture of microwaved meat. I ordered the riblets plain, and now I see why they typically slather them in sugary sauces. They honestly looked like cat food and tasted just as bad.

The food does not taste as good as other Applebee's. I love Alfredo and have attempted to order it several times Each time I end up throwing it away, the pasta is terrible.
