I stopped by to pick up a DoorDash order. Nobody was in the drive-thru line, so I asked at the speaker if I could grab it there. The first employee said yes, but then a second employee came on and told me, pretty curtly, that DoorDash orders have to be picked up inside.
That’s fine, so I parked and went in. The lobby was empty, and the same employee pointed to my order sitting at the counter, not in the mobile pickup area where I’d have expected it.
I don’t mind following a store’s pickup policy. But if the policy is strict enough that I have to come inside with no one else around, the order should be where the policy says it’ll be. A friendlier tone would have helped too. The food was fine. The interaction is what stood out.

I ordered ahead because I was in a rush. They fulfilled everyone else's order before mine- even people who'd arrived long after me.

It's always something. Even when you order "dark toasted" it's not even slightly toasted.
