guacamole was amazing.
chips great.
everyone enjoyed their food.
the rice was exceptionally good.
I loved my shrimp stuffed yellow peppers. 6 chilies that were fat, packed full of flavor!
I was surprised to have chunks of octopus in my shrimp cocktail though... I don't think I'll order that again.

ordered the beef enchilada and beef taco combo. All I got was a cheese enchilada. No taco. Kind of expensive as well for not getting the right order. The shrimp quesadilla was good but it's $24. That's a little much. I will say the enchilada was good just very small and not worth $20 when you don't get the whole meal you ordered.

Normally it's good but this time we didn't get enough of the main order which was papas con chorizo and the the papas were burnt

We have been enjoying Mexicali for years. Hands down tthe worst meal we've ever had. Gray steak dry chicken and the dasher made mulitple stops before us. The only thing that saved the meal was lots of guac and salsa. So disappionted! What can you do or we're done with this place!
