I cant even describe in words how delicious this meal was . I just wished I would have took a picture before I dug in. I had rib tips tender the sauce was saucing the Mac-and cheese was macking and the collard greens and sweet potato yams was yaming this meal was worth every cent

I ordered delivery and got theVeggie Plate Dinner andSweet Potato Pie. They were out of the Obama Flavor (Tea Punch) but they called and let me know instead of me finding out when the order was delivered. So, bonus point for customer service.
Now to the food. I started with the Sweet Potato Pie because I am the type of savage that will eat dessert first. I am usually skeptical of buying restaurant or grocery store sweet potato pie. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I could taste the allspice and nutmeg and it wasnt overly sweet. Good flavor and portion. I will definitely order again.
As you can see from the pictures the food looked fresh and good portions. I liked the black eyed peas and dressing the best. I wasn't a fan of the greens. It was missing some seasoning for me. However, I think if I had some hot sauce it might have hit the spot. I was staying in a hotel so did not have hot sauce. The food did arrive hot and overall was tasty. I would definitely repeat.

I love the veggie plate dinner. It's becoming a Sunday evening favorite! Good portions. Great variety. This time I got black eyed peas, collard greens with turkey, candied yams, and corn. The collard greens and black eyed peas are easily my favorite of the options. I've gotten both twice and have not been disappointed yet. I also ordered a side of cranberry sauce and Sweet Potato Pie for dessert. I'll get back to the pie momentarily. The Veggie Plate Dinner came with a cornbread muffin. OMG! I feel like I was at home. It was perfect. Not too sweet. Not too dry. wonderful for sopping up the juice behind the peas, corn, and greens.
Now, back to the pie! I make sweet potato pie every year at Thanksgiving. I like it much more than pumpkin. I'm picky about my sweet potato pie. Few places get it right.
Priscilla's does. I would be proud to feed this to my family at gatherings.

This place is incredible: best soul food we have found out here in the Western suburbs by a long shot. The navy beans, candied yams, and fried green tomatoes had us dancing in our seats!
