A level up from run of the mill Thai food, not greasy, very flavorful, fresh & filling - especially for all vegetaruan items. Loved the thinner noodles in the spring Fresh Basil Rolls & the Masaman (Mild) (I ordered medium spice) was a great broth-y sauce, tofu, onions & potatos. Very very good!

Basil is one of my favorite go to restaurants. Unfortunately it was the worst tonight.
The pad Thai is always our favorite but tonight it was not. It didn't have all of the ingredients that it always has. I ordered the chicken and shrimp. The order had ONE shrimp and a very few pieces of chicken (3or4 small little pieces) and sticky noodles that seemed like they scraped out of the bottom of the pot. No cilantro Not sure what happened tonight but we were Very disappointed paying $80.00and getting $5.00 of sticky noodles.

### Disappointing Basil Thai Cuisine – Cashew Nut Chicken Fell Flat This Time
I’ve been a regular at Basil Thai Cuisine for years and usually rave about their food—the flavors are bold, authentic, and consistently excellent. Unfortunately, my most recent visit /door dash delivery was a real letdown, especially with their signature Cashew Nut Chicken.
The dish arrived looking sparse. There were hardly any vegetables at all—just a few stray pieces of onion and maybe one or two bits of bell pepper. The chicken itself was underwhelming: dry in places and lacking the usual tender, juicy texture. Worst of all was the sauce (or lack thereof). What little sauce there was had been completely soaked up by the bed of rice in the container in the side, leaving the entire entrée dry and oddly bland. It didn’t have that rich, savory-sweet depth with the signature basil kick that normally makes this dish so addictive. Instead, it tasted strangely “off”—almost muted and weirdly flat.
To make matters worse, we ordered an extra side of white rice, hoping it would help balance things out. The portion came in one of those small takeaway-style containers and wasn’t even filled to the top—barely three-quarters full. The rice itself was dried out, clumpy, and clearly not fresh. It was honestly one of the worst sides of rice I’ve had at any Thai restaurant.
I’m genuinely surprised because Basil Thai has always been reliable in the past. This felt like an off night in the kitchen—maybe rushed prep or running low on ingredients. I hope it was just a one-time slip, because I really do love this place when it’s on its game. For now, though, I’d advise caution if you’re craving the Cashew Nut Chicken. Here’s hoping they bounce back to their usual excellent standard soon. What was worse was that I paid a lot extra to have it made and delivered to our house for what?A bad meal.
2.5/5 stars this visit (normally I’d give them a solid 4.3).

For the price I expected a lot better. It's like a fast food thai. Nothing like others I have had. I'm really disappointed. The most disappointing meal I have had in a while. I was looking forward to it and I'm bummed.
The eggrolls were delishhhh though! Pad Thai was no where close to others I have had closer to home. I had high hopes

The spring rolls were great. A light snack. The shrimp fried rice was perfect and the sweet and sour sauce was a great topping for both.
