We have ordered from Amritsar many many times. In our opinion it's the best Indian take-out in Edmonton, bar none.

I requested that the food be made authentic and spicy and I got what I asked for. The briyani was very tasty with good cuts of lamb (I requested no fat or gristle on the lamb). The Amristsari Kulche was so tasty, not oily and freshly made. The samosa was OK as I found it a tad salty. And I thought I would get 2 samosas but you only get one.
My Uber driver last night had recommended this restaurant for authectic Punjabi Amritsari Kulche and he was 100% accurate.
Keep up the good work as I LOVED the food. Thanks!

The Dal Makhani was absolutely delicious, huge portion size and the food tasted fresh. The Tandoori Aloo Paratha was a large size, the filling was very flavorful. I would come back for sure! The staff was also very friendly and kind, clean restauran space.

TheHyderabadi Lamb Biryani was delicious as was the Amritsari Kulche. Very tasty!! However, they did not send any yoghurt like they had in a previous order. Also, the last time I ordered the same menu, I fell in love with the pickled onions. So, I ordered an extra order. It was gross as they just sent raw onions with maybe a squeeze of vinegar on it. The Beef Samosa was salty and overpriced. the Rasmalai 2Pcs was fantastic and I will order it again.

it was so unexpected in a bad way. I love Amritsar's food. This is my first and last time I will order the Non-veg Thali. It says that it comes with 2 vegetables. What I got was a chickpea curry and a mung dhal curry (tasted good). But, That is not a vegetable, those are pulses. the picture advertised is hugely misleading. th non veg curry shows full pieces of chicken in the picture, what I got was some 4 small bite size chunks of chicken pieces.
The dessert was a standard size halwa piece. Far from what is advertised. They need to change the picture. Many a times customers decide looking at visuals.
