The food was so tasty! The pigs feet platter with greens and potato salad was very good. I loved the cornbread. It was dense and not too sweet. The turkey wing was full of flavor and cooked just right. I also like the thank you note. Great customer service. I will most definitely order again

If Aunt Berta needs another niece, IM AVAILABLE!!! This is some good 'ol old school soul food. It's so hardto find this quality of soul food. The Mega Whiting Fish Platter is huge... the Mac is good, the Mac salad is DIVINE, it's just all so darn good. And what makes it better, is the little thank you note HANDWRITTEN on the platter. They wrote it the first time, and again on this order so I know their appreciation is genuine.

The food here is delicious!! First, the pork chops was fried perfectly and the cabbage was seasoned just right. The Macaroni and Cheese was good. The macaroni salad with tuna was perfect--made just the way I love. The portions are large and there is a sweet note written on the top of my food container which really topped off this incredible meal!! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Im 4months pregnant and honestly Ribs were falling off the bone as soon as I touch it very delicious and came with alot of meat on the bone. Sweet potatoes made perfect just wasn't enough sugar at all needs alot of sugar. Mac and Cheese was also good just need some cheddar cheese and alot of it. I ordered the 3 Rib plater as you can see it came with 6 that was outstanding definitely got my money's worth. Recommendation worthy for sure.

Listen I'm a picky eater, and I'm big on comfort food. I can't lie the Famous Cajun Jenna Turkey Wings (2) is everything, do you understand how hard it is to have juicy well seasoned Famous Cajun Jenna Turkey Wings (2) now the collard green is just right not too soft not too tough again seasoned perfectly the Candied Yams just enough sweetness. I can go on and on but lastly the potatoe salad it was just right. The portions are worth every penny.
All I can say is keep cooking like this as a chef that likes to treat myself once and awhile trying new places this is hands down my favorite southern soul food in philly. Please don't fall off,
