We had the Catfish and Cajun fries - delicious! The catfish was crispy with a moist interior - cooked perfectly. The portion of fries was generous and the cajun spices kicked it up a notch.

The Garlic Noodles were a bit different than I expected. As garlic noodles are traditionally a Vietnamese dish, but this was simply linguine with Garlic Noodles had way too much butter. however, they were still delicious and I ate every last drop after draining off some of the butter. The boiled potatoes I ordered were simply butter. Boiled Potatoes (3). I did eat all of them although it wasn't three potatoes. I only received two potatoes cut in half. I did have to again not only drain the butter, but after being in the fridge and eating the rest of them and the noodles the second day I had to use so many paper towels to scrape the butter off both the noodles and the Boiled Potatoes (3). I know this is sounding like a complaint, but after I did what I did to remove the literal full stick of butter on the potatoes and perhaps half a stick of butter on the noodles, the food was really fantastic. I will certainly buy again.
I think part of the problem with the butter coagulating is because the driver was incredibly late and I had a double dash order. The Dasher went to Cardenas's market, which is a block from me before they went to the backyard Bayou. It makes no sense they should have gone and grabbed the backyard bayou because they had to pass my house to go to backyard bayou and have they gone there first and then to Cardenas's market, I don't think the butter would've been such an issue, but they did the reverse. So by the time I got the backyard Bayou order it was already cold. That is not the restaurant fault at all. It is the Dasher's fault. Backyard by you was so good. I think I'm going to order from backyard bayou again and not do a double dash so I won't have the butter issue.

Great flavor, cracking Chicken Tenders w/Fries, they serve you right for the price, better quality and price than the fast food places! Definitely ordering again! Dying to try the Mac n cheese and Gator next time! fresh celery is a bonus

Blackened Salmon Rice Bowl was good, except rice was gummy. broccoli and cauliflower were hardly steamed, i personally don't mind raw veggies but others may be unhappy. Mixed Greens great portion for price, I added the egg to the salad

The Garlic Noodles are the absolute standout—perfectly chewy and tossed in a rich, buttery sauce with just the right hit of fresh, pungent garlic. They don’t hold back on the flavor, making every bite more addictive than the last. Pair them with their juicy, snapped-to-perfection corn on the cob, and you have the ultimate comfort meal. it was the perfect portion and on the garlic noodles. I actually had enough for the next day and I definitely will be ordering again very soon.
