When I want authentic Japanese Curry in Long Beach, I order it from Bamboo Teri House. The order includes a small but delicious salad. The salad is so good that I order some of their other salads. Each salad has been fantastic. I love the Tempura. Five stars worthy.

The Super Bowl was extremely filling and delicious. Too often, I see small portions of meat and veg, and then an enormous bed of rice. But there was none if that here, and I'm very thankful for that. The Crunchy California 8 PC was also delicious. Good size, good portion, and tasted great!

Overpriced for the quality and amount of food. My wife's sukiyaki bowl had 4 small pieces of beef. The portion of meat to rice was very low. The sesame chicken tasted okay but looked reheated from yesterday.

The Chicken Katsu Curry was excellent. Bamboo Teri House is well known for its Japanese curry. That said, what makes the Chicken Katsu Curry extra special is that it is made with fresh juicy chicken and fresh Katsu coating. Excellent and high quality.

Salad dressing was watery and flavorless and it used to be one of my favorite things!
Tempura batter was, -for the 3rd or 4th time- stale, and the mixed tempura was not good.
Even the California roll didn't taste fresh.
I have been a regular customer but I don't think I can recommend this anymore.
