Bento Tei offers a variety of Japanese-style bento (boxed food) with varied culinary combinations wrapped in the concept of "east meets west." Bento Tei's distinctive bento includes salad, gohan (rice…
Excellent. All items were cooked on par and the meats were juicy. Couldnt have asked for a better meal to be honest. Very happy to order for next time.

It's not the same Bento Tei that we used to love. The chicken karaage is not the same as before, it's now covered in sauce. The cut of the beef in the signature bento is too thick and the meat is hard to chew.
The chicken katsu is okay but the old flavour presentation is still better.

My expectations for ramen in Canberra were low but I've had better bowls for $2 and a kettle.
If your only experience of ramen comes out of a packet then this is probably great, if you've had anything approximating the real deal then a single slice of chashu, a couple Spriggs of spring onion and some corn isn't going to excite you.
no aroma oil, no egg, terrible cheap noodles and no effort.

Bento Tei does great food. Its the only place I know that serves Taiyaki which I love. One problem is they've made it compulsory to pick a side for a lot of dishes on Doordash (Chips +$6 or Miso Soup +$4.50). I assume its a mistake as its not a requirement on other sites. Hope they fix this so I can order Chicken Karaage Curry without an additional purchase.

Thy have massively downsized their portions, now giving you a small section of beef and chicken and a massive clump of rice. I used to really like this place its disapointng
