This is my 3rd time ordering.... and again the food is delicious.... I appreciate the owner calling me to inform me about the Ken's Seafood Boudin Balls--deelish... and gave an extra portion... the BBQ is tender and the sauce is tasty... the desserts are awesome and homemade.....also the customer service is stellar... they went out of their way to make sure my order was right....

Sides were skimpy and old. Mac and cheese was hard. I've ordered from this place two other times and know this is not the correct portion size. It looks as if they gave us day-old scraps. Also the amount of oxtail you get for $25 is not worth it.Smothered Oxtails Rib Tips Fried Catfish

Okay, I am going to go out on a limb and say this is THE BEST SOUL FOOD IN LA. I've ordered from here several times and I had a bad experience my last order. I decided to give it another shot, and when I tell you they redeemed themselves. Everything was delicious! Smothered Oxtails were literally falling off the bone. Soul food spots never get the yams right, but these Candied Yams taste like my Big Mamas -10/10! Portion sizes were on point. Food arrived hot, and I'm at least 20 minutes away. I will most definitely order again.

We ordered the Smothered Oxtails, Ribs, Fried Catfish, and the 3 Combos - 3 Meats... I asked for rib tips, brisket, and a chicken link, but got ribs instead of a link when I opened my container. They were very generous with the bbq sauce, which was delicious, but i discovered it was to mask the flavorless brisket; the red beans and rice had no seasoning, but the smothered cabbage and potato salad were decent (which I tried with my fingers, since we weren't provided utensils). The Fried Catfish was amazing! Perfect seasoned and great crunch! The Ribs were good as were the Smothered Oxtails and Mac n cheese! Every plate came with a generous amount of hot water cornbread, which will fill you up all by itself, so eat in moderation! I'll definitely be back and may order in person next time.

Ordered a few sides and dessert, the dessert was a bread pudding, it had a weird taste to it and for $8 it was 2 bites big. Also the 2 sides was mac&cheese and greens, both were wayyy too salty and I couldn't eat it. I will not eat here again.
