• 22/5/26Hidden Gem!! RUM BOOGIE FRENCH TOAST must be from a France in another universe, most heavenly way to sin. RISE & SHINE knocked my socks off, did the laundry, and put them back on for me. Not one crumb of the biscuit was dry, talking about it again brings a tear to my eye.

• 20/9/24The food was so delicious!! The roux for the Shrimp & Grits was seasoned very well and it was a good amount of it to even have some left over. The Biscuits(1) was a little undercooked as it tasted very doughy, so I put it in oven for about 5 minutes. The Tender Love (3 Chicken) and Fries is the reason im giving this 4 stars instead of 5. There were two small tenders that looked like someone had either took a bite from them or they simply should not have been served at all. The others were crispy and pretty good. The fries were still hot and a little crispy. I wish the type of apple juice would have been specified as a caprisun. All in all, I would eat here again.

• 12/11/24It was SO SO good the 1st time and STILL the food was delicious, but they had set the bar HIGH on my 1st order. This time my poached eggs were more like hard boiled. I always order Shrimp & Grits and you can't go wrong with this dish. I would have liked a bit more roux and seasoning on the Shrimp & Grits this time, but I added salt and it was fine. You can always add, but you can never subtract. I add my poached eggs to the Shrimp & Grits , along w/an order of pork bacon crumbled and I can eat off this dish 2 or 3 times. I tell myself everytime that I am going to take a picture of my food , but its SO gpod that I usually eat it too fast for photos. lol. I did snap a photo of the overcooked eggs this time for Doordash, but I don't want you to see this picture, bcuz I truly believe this was a one off mistake. I want to give it 5 stars but I will update my review after my next order. And YES THERE WILL BE ANOTHER ORDER 😀 . This place is GREAT! Just leave a note NOT to over poach.

• 15/1/25Shrimp & Grits had so many great reviews I was excited to try it. The taste was delicious but the texture of the grits was off, I also paid for extra shrimp but received a normal amount. Maybe I will to have come in and dine maybe it do travel well. The Rum Boogie French Toast w/ rum Sauce was also delicious BUT the inside of both was mushy and not edible. Also I ordered orange juice and received a weird tasting lemonade.
