The best NY bagels in SF! The only issue I have is with the lox, which isn't sliced paper thin as lox should be - by deli standards - and there is no wax paper separating the slices. Basically, you wind up tearing out rolled up chunks, most of which are relatively chunky to begin with.

Love this place! Next best thing to being in NYC! Finally- delicious, NY style bagels in the Bay Area! We love these so much we always have extra in the freezer and they keep well. Just pop them in the toaster oven and it's a perfect weekend breakfast with a little cream cheese and their delicious whitefish! Don't miss out!

I really like Boichik bagels!
+ fresh, flavorful
+different flavors are uniformly excellent
+the basic had tasty heirloom tomatoes
What could be better:
-the cost, even of a single, unadorned bagel, is excessive. Quality is superb, but your bagels aren't made of gold. Lower your prices!
-wish you offered an open face version of the lox/cream cheese/onion/tomato bagel
That is all. I order because occasionally I must have your tastiness regardless of price!

You cannot find a real bagel anywhere in San Francisco. The Salt Bagel and Poppy bagel from this place is the closest in density, consistency and flavor. I will definitely order from here again! The bagels taste a little sweet to me. If they took the sugar out of their recipe, I'd give them 5 stars.
