The food was great today! Whoever is cooking did a great job! Great way to start the new year! The rice was fresh and the chicken was crispy and not over sauced!

I'm done. I've given Bonchon multiple chances hoping the quantity portion of the food would improved. We've been going ever since they opened on Moody St. And the quantity of the food has been declining over the years.
The boneless use to be strips in a long rectangular box and eventually changed to good size nuggets in a smaller box.
And this is what we got tonight. For $19.99. A small square box with nuggets that did not even fill the box side by side.
They were barely nuggets, many of which were mostly breading and little chicken found on the inside.
This is nothing short of greed by the owners trying to maximize their profit. They have taken shrinkflation to the extreme.
We'll stick to getting nuggets from Costco or BJs and putting our own hot honey or Korean bbq sauce on them knowing that we will actually be able to taste the chicken and not just breading.
Hell, I'll even drive to McDonalds and get their 40 spicy nuggets for $19.99 knowing I'll get more chicken and less carbs and still have enough left over for a 2nd meal.
I'm all for supporting small businesses but not when the value is lacking and the money goes directly into the owners pocket.
Maybe this explains why the restaurant is always empty when e walk by. Sad.

Tastes really good but there was was too many fish cakes and too little rice cakes. The biggest problem though is that the tteok (rice cakes) are overcooked and mushy. They should be firm and chewy. Def not worth the 31 dollars it took to order, and i only got 5$ in refund

Tteokbokki portion was pretty small, but the freshness of the fried chicken was fine. The fried chicken was still crunchy, but the flavor didn't seep into the insides. Tteokbokki was really spicy and didn't even touch all sides of the container. Kind of thing you would order if you had REALLY serious Korean fried chicken cravings. Don't get the Tteokbokki though.

This was the first time ordering from the Waltham location, would not recommend. The chicken sandwich had a breading that tasted burnt, likely due to old oil. On top of that, there was a negligible amount of Korean BBQ sauce on it. The coleslaw on the sandwich had 0 flavor. The fries were pretty decent, but that was it. Would not order again.
