I was craving fish and chips. Been a long time since I had ordered anything from Captain D's but saw some good reviews and gave it a shot. The fish was not white and flaky it was hard and dry almost like overcooked chicken. The breading was way too thick and flavorless. I threw most of it out. The shrimp batter grainy, it was cold and rubbery. Definitely a disappointment.

The fish tasted old and the texture was rubbery! Also, there was only about 10 fries total with the meal.

My husband liked his grilled white fish meal and said the two broccoli sides were really good.
I did not care for my catfish. That type of fish is never consistent from order to order. In this meal, the so-called catfish had a strong ocean flavor that was overpowering. I didn't finish it.
Also, they have changed their chicken tenders. The new ones are okay but just a little saltier than the old ones.
The 8-piece order of cheesesticks tasted okay and came with one packet of Heinz marinara sauce.

Butterfly shrimp was great. Fries taste like cardboard.
