i should have trusted the reviews! everything, even the tea was terrible! all the dogs d taste like old burnt grease and my baked potato was hard as a rock!

Yes ,the crew on this shift did a wonderful job,definitely shout out to the cook for tonight,the best I ever gotten out of captain D's in Madison. Dated 2-3-2026 at 8:30pm

Usually, I have a great experience with this restaurant... NOT today. My 2 meals were missing the hush puppies, and my baked potato was the funkiest shade of brown I've ever seen (trashed that thing).

I worked at Captain Ds for 5 years. I was a manager. When you have black crackling stuck to the fish. it means you didn't swirl the pot. This is huge pieces to big not to have noticed and should've been put into waste not served. I can send a pic.
