This is my first negative review, flake was not nice the tartare sauce was pictured as a home made but I received a cheap supermarket version stuffed in a tub. Wedges $7.5 only got a handful of wedges, burgers were ok 5/10. Steamed dim sims were terrible. Almost everything ordered was not eaten. There is better fish and chips around

17 wedges for $7.50 no thanks i will stick to my local. Same price way more wedges and they give sweet chilli sauce and sour cream with it.

I'm old enough to say that I have had fish& chips from shops, pubs, cruises, overseas, different states, different suburbs and no one beats the captain of fish and chips. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Don't believe me.
try the butter fish crumbed or battered. The hamburger, grilled fish souvlaki with no other sauce, except garlic.
Hard to find the right size scallops these days?
not at captains. He refuses the small scallops or you will get extra scallops.
The only burger I didn't like was the Chicken Schnitzel .
I am not a fan of plain mayonnaise . I don't think Chicken Schnitzel belongs in a fish shop anyway. Must be something new in fish shops.
I couldn't complain about anything else.

the Lot Hamburger was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection 👌. the flake Fisherman's Basket One was super fresh definitely recommend and will be back again
