It was just pretty nasty. The lettuce seemed like it was from last century, chemically preserved until now. The beef has a really unpleasant char flavor to it, like a bunch of butane or propane is cooked into it. Especially around the edges this is very palpable. The first time I got this sandwich it was absolutely BATHED in mayonaise. Getting it a second time with no mayo didn't improve things as much as i hoped. I just don't think the quality of carls jr's sandwiches are for me on any level, the ingredients and the preparation are what i would consider the bottom of the barrel after having this sandwich twice.

Very good biscuits and gravy! They put the gravy in a separate bowl. It was still warm when delivered.

The chicken on the sandwich was so old, it had literally turned to jerky. I was also missing one of my jalapeño poppers and the sauce that went with it. Did they forget it or did my driver get hungry on the way? Who knows.
