I really like Chao Krung and the food is high quality, well-made, fresh, and not too over the top greasy or sweet. But I would say some items seem very pricey for what they are. For example the rice Kuay-tiaw Phat Poo "Crab Noodle" is $28 and doesn't contain that much crab and is also missing a couple key flavor notes - sour and sweet (we just need a little bit, not too much). I squeezed quite a bit of lime and added some of the sauce from the Phad Ma-kua "Eggplant Basil" and it was perfect.

BOGO was a nice deal, although the serving size explained why. 😂 Tasty sticky rice, off-season pale mango, and coconut sauce applied with remarkable restraint. Packaging gets points. Overall: okay, but not quite craving-worthy, totally different from their menu photo.

Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice is literally so small and $13 is crazy. It's more mango than rice and it's like six pieces of mango.

Absolutely do not order from here. The food is extremely expensive for the amount received. I got the mango sticky rice and got a hockey puck of rice and the rest of the container was mango. It was 15 dollars thats genuinely ridiculous for the price

I had not dined at Chao Krung on a long time and I’m happy to say that the food is still delicious. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow and sticky rice and mango. The Pad Kee Mow was delicious, perfectly spicy for me (not too hot) and the portion was generous. The Sticky Rice and mango had an interesting twist, it was made with jasmine rice and served without coconut cream dressing. The rice was not as sticky as I am accustomed to and the serving was too small to share.
