I’ve ordered the smashed avo a few times, and the toast slices are disappointingly small—barely two bites each. For $14, this is quite poor value. Please ensure the toast slices are reasonably sized and consistent. If waste from the small ends of loaves is a concern, there are bread suppliers that offer more evenly shaped loaves.

I used to eat from this restaurant all the time. Recently ordered twice and the quality is not the same. Put granola in my açai when I requested none due to allergy, they forgot the gelato in a drink which is supposed to have gelato, and the size of the toast? haha what is this???? Why is it so tiny

I love Charlies but the quality is so hit and miss. I LOVE the Peanut Butter & Jelly when it's done well, but the last few times I've ordered I have absolutely not gotten my money’s worth – barely any strawberries and this morning, barely any peanut butter either.
$12 is already kind of cheeky for what this is – two bits of toast with peanut butter, rice malt syrup and sliced strawberries (sometimes you’ll get some crushed nuts sprinkled over but not every time) – so to then be so stingy that all I can taste is the toast… not really good enough. When it’s made well, it’s great. But having ordered it most days for the past fortnight, it’s often not made well.
The avo on toast has the same issue – some days it’s made really well, other days you’re lucky to get a smear of old, brown avocado.There’s just no consistency with quality.
Also agree with others regarding baked goods like muffins and banana bread. I don’t order those sorts of things from Charlie’s anymore because they’re usually disappointing and overpriced for what they are.

Acai Bowl - ordered large for $22 but was very small. smaller than a toilet paper roll. i'm not sure if it was a mistake and they gave me small size but i paid $3 extra for large and it was disappointing. the photos on the app was misleading. it looks much bigger than it actually is. the ingredients that came in the bowl were also different to the photos. taste was ok
