My boyfriend and I ordered the Family Dinner and everything was seriously SO good. We got the Pork with Onions & Peppers, Mongolian Beef, Combination Chow Mein, Salt & Pepper Wings, and Wonton Egg Drop Soup.
First of all, the Salt & Pepper Wings were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Crispy, flavorful, seasoned perfectly—honestly one of the highlights of the entire meal. If I had to be extremely picky, my only suggestion would be to toss them with even more of the spicy peppers/onions because that flavor was amazing and I wanted MORE of it!
The Pork with Onions & Peppers was another standout. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the entire dish was seasoned so well. My Mongolian Beef was just as good—the beef had a great texture, was cooked perfectly, and came with plenty of vegetables. Nothing tasted bland or like an afterthought.
The Combination Chow Mein had chicken, pork, beef AND shrimp, and the noodles tasted really fresh with a great texture. We literally only added about half a packet of soy sauce and it was perfect. My boyfriend also really enjoyed the Wonton Egg Drop Soup, and we appreciated that it actually had plenty of wontons in it!
I also have to give China Garden major credit for the packaging. Everything was organized, separated, and packed with care. They even placed cardboard along the bottom to help keep everything level during delivery and absorb any spills. My Mongolian Beef leaked a little during transport, but because of how well everything was packaged, it barely created a mess. Utensils and sauces were included, too. You can tell they actually thought about how the food would arrive to the customer.
Overall, 10/10. Great portions, fresh ingredients, tender meat, tons of flavor, and excellent packaging. If you’re looking for good Chinese food and considering China Garden, I absolutely recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back! 👏🏾🔥🥡🥢
