My quest to find authentic Chinese food in Springfield is finally over! Corner 21 is definitely THE BEST!
We ordered the Fried 42. 扬州炒饭 / Yang Zhou Style Fried Rice, 4.干锅鸡 / Sautéed Chicken with Pepper in Iron Wok, dry 17. 煽鱿鱼 / Dry Fried Calamari, 39. 铁板烧汁茄子 / Eggplant on Sizzling Plate, and 46. 牛腩面 / Beef Brisket Noodle Soup.
My chef husband who has traveled and worked all over the globe finally approved! We will definitely order again and again!

Fantastic food! Couldn't wait to take pics before digging in! The 44. 卤香烧肉饭 / Braised Pork Belly with Rice was nice and filling,the 42. 扬州炒饭 / Yang Zhou Style Fried Rice was tasty and not at all dry, and the 67.猪肉包/ steam pork buns were meaty and favorful! Will order again!

#54 Mixed Vegetable with Special Sauce is a cold dish that is one of our top favorites—we get it every time, and even our grandkids love it!
We just tried #5 Sauted Steak with Pepper and it was quite tasty—not too spicy and the meat was very tender with no fat. The portion was quite large so there is enough left for lunch tomorrow.

Corner 21 Chinese Cuisine deserves more than 4.8 stars, it should be a full 5! We ordered the stir fried noodles, glass noodles with sesame sauce, braised pork belly with green beans, pineapple chicken, sweet-and-sour pork, and the hot and crispy fish, and every single dish was unbelievably fresh and delicious.
The flavors were bold, perfectly balanced, and everything tasted like it was made with real care and top-quality ingredients. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the noodles were amazing, and the hot and crispy fish was absolutely fire!
I’m visiting from New York, and honestly, I haven’t had Chinese food this good in a long time. If you’re anywhere near here, don’t miss this place — it’s truly exceptional!

I would never recommend the 2.菠萝鸡 / Pineapple Chicken--it looked amazing, but was 90% breading and 10% chicken. It tasted like I was eating fried cornstarch balls in sweet and sour sauce. Such a disappointment, because I've had their stir fried dishes before, like the sizzling beef and it is divine. I would never order this again, nor recommend to anyone.
