As usual, the food from Cracker Barrel was excellent - Momma's Pancake Breakfast was outstanding, with three large pancakes and ample portions of tasty crispy bacon and scrambled eggs!

The Carrot Cake tasted more like ginger bread and the cream cheese icing was grainy and a little too sweet. I usually love the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake but it was very dry and the icing wasn't as good as I've had at other times. The **MONDAY ONLY** Chicken & Rice was excellent. The chicken was moist and tender. The gravy had a nice flavor as did the rice.
The portion sizes were more like the old Cracker Barrel size. A definitely refreshing reversal of the new changes that were a complete failure.

The chicken was great! However my husband ordered the trout with pinto beans and greens and the pinto bean side portion was very skimpy, a tablespoon at most? He also ordered cornbread which he did not receive. Food tasted good. Just beware, you'll pay full price for smaller sized sides.

food was hot and fresh, I would definitely order again. And got a healthy portion of food. I have absolutely no complaints. I always get the chicken tenders since the first time I tried them, they're very flavorful and moist. Great.

Outstanding food - the Sunday Homestyle Chicken was great and could easily feed two (even though I managed to barely finish it) and Country Vegetable plate was also very good and offers a healthier alternative!
