their pinto beans are cooked well with a good portion of ham trimmings. For my taste they need to have more salt, but I understand why they don't add salt. Their customers may have dietary restrictions of salt. It's easy to add more salt (& ground black pepper for someone like me.)
if you crave beans & cornbread, l the Cracker Barrel is a good place to fill that craving. And their little side of chow-chow is super good!!

The Campfire Chicken had no seasoning. It tasted like chicken you'd use in soup. Nothing else had seasoning either. I included a picture from the menu and then what I got, and keep in mind that I added pepper and salt myself before taking it. TheCherry Cobbler had no crust or crumble to it. Whatever you call it. It was just a cherry mess. My girlfriend liked her Slow-Braised Pot Roast but the Cherry Cobbler really let her down and my whole Campfire Chicken dish had almost no seasoning. There are also only four of the cherry potatoes.

The Country Fried Steak was above good...it was DELICIOUS. The Mini Strawberry Cheesecake was tiny but worth the price!!!

This was probably the best Biscuits n' Gravy with Bacon or Sausage that I've had in a long while from anywhere. home cooked, Cracker Barrel or otherwise. It was a very delicious breakfast option.
