Cuban Sandwich Cubano / Cuban Sandwich was not authentic does not have pickles.
They charged $3.25 for one ham Ham Croquettes which was tiny smaller than mozzarella stick. That is absurd. We ordered two of the Ropa Vieja o Carne Ripiada / Shredded Beef and the meat portion was not sufficient it was mostly rice and two different rices. Terrible never again.

The Kids Meal #8 was perfect no complaints about that dish! I loved it and my son loved it. The Pollo Guisado / Chicken Stew, I'm not sure I would even try this again. The rice was hard, had good taste, portion was perfect but could not enjoy it because it was that hard, I couldn't tell between the chicken bones and the rice.

Yucca and Fried Plantains were solid. Cuban sandwich was a little disappointing; lots of ham stacked up to the point that it was difficult to bite through, pork tasted old, pickles were somehow bland, and there wasn't enough mustard to bring the 'zip' that the pickles were lacking. No sauces included with the yucca (or the sandwich). Perhaps it was just an off day/order, but I didn't finish the sandwich nor would I order again. If there are other dishes on par with the sides I would certainly give the restaurant another chance.

The Kids Meal #2 came with arroz congris and 1 beef and 1 chicken empanada. The empanadas were very good and tasted fresh. The congris was very dry and seriously lacked flavor (sazon). I have eaten a lot of Cuban food, both homemade and from restaurants, and this congris missed the mark. The maduros were good, but they tasted like the frozen variety, not freshly made. Overall, the meal was ok, but not the best Cuban food I have had.
