Malai Kofta is my go to dish here and I'm not even a vegetarian. It's just that delicious. The dumplings are tender and tasty but the sauce is what's up. I could eat a shoe with this sauce! It's creamy and just right for spicy and with rice it is a perfect dish imo.
I also tried the Thatte Idli. I have had idli from another place and fell in love with the texture. They are light and fluffy and total sponges for the sambar, ghee, and or chutney. They are killer dipped in the Malai Kofta gravy too! Total new fave for me! Oh, and the puri? That was new to me but basically, they were large, about 4to 6 inches in diameter, and I'm sure completely puffed up right out of the frier but were flat by the time they arrived. Nature of the beast. Not the restaurants fault. They were still tasty. Alone they taste like sopapillas or fry bread and are fantatistic dipped in the gravy and sambar.

I absolutely love Desi Bites! Everything is just so tasty and you really can't beat the value for how large the portions sizes are. I particularly like their Special Biryiani. The rice and sauces that it comes with are good enough to eat alone but this also has a really delicious spiced chicken ( I know, boring, right? NOT THIS STUFF!) as the main protein and while I don't tend to have cravings, I absolutely crave this stuff! It's pretty spicy in it's default form of "medium," on DoorDash. I wish that they had a milder option because not everyone in my fam likes it that hot, but you can probably ask for it if you eat in the restaurant. Another item of note are the amazing lamb samosas! Think fried pie in a fun pyramidal shape and crammed absolutely full of super tasty spiced, ground lamb! The chicken and veg ones are good too but the lamb ones are fire! For those of you who don't eat meat, they have plenty of meatless options and while I tend to be a carnivore of some esteem, I could totally go vegetarian on this food. It is just that flavorful. One of my favorite non-meat options is the Malai Kofta which are these American football shaped fritters that are made from potatoes and other veg and they are cooked in a really nice, thick curried gravy that you could just about eat on a flip-flop...lol! Don't forget the garlic naan, plenty of raita, and a mango lassi to help keep the heat down and if this is your first time eating here (or even better if it's your first time with Indian food, ) it could change your life!

First time trying out this place, it was definitely a hit! I ordered the butter chicken which comes with rice and I also ordered plain naans on the side. The butter chicken is a creamy tomato based curry with a hit of sweetness, they were generous with the chicken portion and also made with only chicken breast. I really like that you can also adjust the spice level and when it arrived the food was piping hot, I really appreciate the freshness of the food. Overall was super delicious and with rice and naans on the side to complement the dish was delightful! Would definitely order again!

Paneer Biryani is fablulous. The "meduim" heat is pretty warm for my taste, but it's delicious!!! And the packaging is the best ever in a resealable container, which I need because the portion is HUGE. Love!!!
