New favorite spot! I drove past this place twice trying to get my order and was surprised to find good vibes and even better eats. Deaux is in a cozy hole in the wall, with slot machines, colorful bar, and a dj that loves karaoke more than the crowd. I ordered 10 wings and fries, the macdeaux and cheese, and green beans. The MacaDeux & Cheese and Green Beans were well seasoned, but not my favorite. I prefer a looser mac and cheese, but I'd order again with a different protein. The wings, though, were cooked, coated and seasoned to perfection, and I inhaled the fries before I could get back home. They were soft and dusted with a bit of creole seasoning, mild and not too salty. I dipped them in the homemade ranch that came with the order and wished I had more of both! My mum had the burger. Typically a tough critic, she was impressed by how pretty the burger presented. Even more impressed by the two thick patties, also seasoned to perfection, between buttered and grilled buns. Her only complaint was to scratch the lettuce and add ketchup and mustard. What a great experience! I'm glad that I opted to pickup instead of having our food delivered. I would've missed this surprising gem, but now that I know. . . Y'all won't ever be rid of me! Great food!

I received the 6 piece dry rub wings that came with fries, 2 hush puppies and 1 ranch sauce cup. I enjoyed the wings and fries, wasn't aware the hush puppies had jalapeños in them so I didn't like them as much but good flavor. As for the Swamp Pasta I received, it was just okay. Not creamy like I think it was meant to be and had basic ingredients. Small portion for $10 as well, l wouldn't get it again. I think the items need more detailed descriptions and pictures so customers know what to expect as well.

I'm really glad I got the Daisy Lee (Grilled Chicken & Shrimp) because it's high in protein and it's sooo good, very well seasoned  and the presentation was great. The name of the restaraunt caught my attention. The Mashed Potatoes came in a great size for it to be regular. It remindedme of  seafood boiled potatoes (as far as seasoning ) but just mashed. It's so good. Im giving it 4 starts instead of 5 only because of the Red Beans & Rice. Me personally, I just didnt like the seasoning. I also wished it was more soul food like, like savory and comforting. Im gonna add ketchup like I always do and Im sure thats gonna do it for me. I would order again.

Shrimp and grits was dry, no gravy. Just 4-5 shrimps and some dry grits. Didnt look anything like the picture so I guess it was a mistake. Disappointed.

DO NOT order from this place! I got the chicken fried steak that came completely dry without any gravy. Who eats chicken fried steak dry? I took a nibble just to taste the meat and it had a bad/spoiled taste 🤮 The mashed potatoes were actually diced and boiled red potatoes and it had a strange taste. I also ordered the swamp pasta which was literally Chicken Voila from the grocery store frozen food section with some sausage and crawfish added. No joke!  The red beans and rice seemed to be made with instant rice and it was mushy and without seasoning. The Mac and Cheese was old and tasted like it barely had any cheese. To make a long story short, I didn't feel safe eating any of it and it tasted really bad. I threw it all away and wasted $40.
