Price point was low enough to try different items without guilt but the food was just meh. Nothing stood out about anything ordered. While the sliders are actual full-size burgers for me, the Bacon Me Happy slider had bacon that was almost too hard to chew, burger was dry and crumbly. The Backyard slider had great flavor (pretty sure that came from their homemade house sauce) but maybe I should have ordered a double patty to hold up to the extra thick pickles - and while I am a pickle worshipper, these tried to overwhelm the slider if the house sauce hadn't saved the day. Fries were good; natural, hand cut always seem to be on the limp side. Cheese sauce was a dud - no flavor. Tots were an absolute never again. Zero salt or seasoning, soggy and smooshed together in the bag. Ordered sides of the homemade awesome and house sauce for dipping and both were amazing but neither could save the tots. Even Napoleon would have passed on these tots.

The Icelandic Dawg was quite good, but the cheese fries were lacking. No salt whatsoever, and the cheese sauce is much worse than the Merkt's cheddar based cheese sauces you'd get elsewhere in Chicago.

Big Chicago Dawg was totally tasty and the tater tots were so good with the cheese cup put it over the top. I can eat the tots as a meal by itself they're that good with cheese. I might try honey mustard next time.
