I’m honestly just confused. I really hope the owners read this because the concept seems great, but there are a few things that really need attention.
This was my second time ordering, and it’s also the second time I received something different from what I selected. At this point, I have to assume it’s a menu or system issue, not just user error. I’ve ordered the double smash burger both times, carefully selecting my toppings — yet both times it arrived with bacon and raw onion, which I didn’t choose. I don’t see anywhere in the description that all burgers automatically come with those toppings, so please update the item descriptions to clearly list what’s included. Also, if customers can select toppings, only those choices should appear on the final order.
As for the food itself — the burger wasn’t dry (which I saw mentioned in some other reviews), but it was definitely under-seasoned. Once I added the sauce, it made more sense — maybe the idea is to let the sauce carry the flavor. But since not everyone will want the sauce, the meat still needs to be seasoned on its own.
Another issue is the bun. I live in Shaker Heights, so delivery time isn’t long, but both times my bun arrived very soggy. It might be wrapped too soon or too tightly in foil, but the bun completely loses its structure by the time it gets here. That could be worth looking into.
On the positive side, the fries are consistently good — they don’t come salted, but they’re always hot and fresh when they arrive, and I can easily add my own salt.
Overall, I think this place has real potential. The flavors, concept, and freshness are there — it just needs a few tweaks with seasoning, packaging, and accurate menu descriptions.
