This is my favorite Korean restaurant in the area. There's so many amazing options but Doma tastes the most homemade and cozy. I've liked everything I've ever tried and the D1. Donkatsu meal set is super generous and delicious! Thank you for all the tasty side dishes.

I love Doma, I think their food is usually good, but stay away from the yukgejang and japchae. It's not worth your money. The japchae was basically all noodles with small vegetable pieces here and there it really should be more of a 50/50 ratio. The yukgejang was the same, half of the soup was just noodles. Barely any beef in there. A little disappointed.

Online ordering exp:
I have an allergy that I listed as a just in case. Usually, restaurants will call fairly quickly when they check the order to clarify or make adjustments as needed. This spot called me 20 minutes after the order was made and told me they would be ommitting the dumplings from the Rice Cake & Dumpling Soup because there is sesame oil in them. I asked if we could swap the item or subsitute - they said no. I asked if we could cancel the order then, since this was the reason I considered this restaurant to begin with - they said they couldnt and I had to... i cannot because they already accepted the order on doordash. They then told me they couldnt cancel because the kitchen was already working on it. No substitution was offered or add-on (which sre listed as available on their doordash menu). Basically it was a courtesy call that I would not get dumplings. The basic equivilant of ordering chicken and waffles and bring told you will only be getting waffles..
Rice cake & dumpling soup:
Missing dumplings aside, the soup was good - good, fairly deep broth flavor, the thickness of the broth from the rice cakes was good.
Tangsuyuk:
Would not order again, would not eat again. The pork was cut so thin that the batter overwhelmed it and made it feel like I was eating plastic. Their batter was also on the heavier side so a real miss on tangsuyuk. The sauce was rather thin - as though there was no corn starch in it, and it was very one note sweet.
Overall:
An easy "never order again" which I wish doordash would allow users to make notes on restaurants for ourselves. Possibly a "try in person," but not the tangsuyuk.

The kimbap are an easy recommendation here -- I've had this combo countless time and it's always been both fresh and delicious ( the soup is a nice bonus, too!). A great place for home style Korean eats!

I've ordered from here twice. First time I had rolls and the portions and taste were great. My second time I ordered S4 and really didn't like it. Barely any seafood, too much squash. Some of the rice was mushy.
