Our first time getting food from Donburiya Cafe. So glad to find this cafe with some of my favorite foods of Japan and Korea. We both liked our meals. Fresh ingredients, good sized portions. Plenty of beef in my Japchae. Spouse liked his salmon. We will certainly order from them again. I can tell you right now I will order my fave Oyako-don next time! I was a bit disappointed with the small size of the yuzu dessert cake slice especially at the price. All our dishes were more pricey than I expected but given the high cost of food these days it is understandable. We will order from them again!

The Buta Don was excellent. The slices of pork were nice and tender. The rice soaking up the juice from the meat to the grilled onions that still had a little crisp bite to them. Everything was wonderful. The portion size big enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. I would definitely recommend and order again. 10/10

I really like this restaurant and the food was good. However, I received a lot of rice but not much meat. The portion size of the veggies was fair. This is a light meal to eat. I was still hungry afterward and wished I had ordered a heavier, more solid meal. The matcha latte and edamame were great as usual.

Always amazingly delicious! Please give them a try. I used to each chicken katsudon from a place in Texas, and didn't think I'd ever find a place in CT with Chicken Katsu Don as delicious as theirs. I was wrong! I ate at many places here and Donburiya's food is the absolute best. You don't need to look elsewhere. Food is incredibly fresh and portions super generous!

Green Tea Cheese Cake:
Horrendously puny proportions.
They only gave me (3) small slices when I ordered (4).
The Green Tea Cheese Cake looks expired, and has no taste,the crust is soggy as well.
I will not be ordering from this location again.
