I grew up in Camden and of course I love a Donkey, but when Rob came up with the dry rub wings and I tried them they are so good, I especially wanted to share that I made a special request for light rub on the wings and they delivered and added a nice note on my delivery box. Love Donkeys, Camden strong! Proud of Rob and his team!

after hearing about how great this place is for years I finally decided to try it. it does not live up to the hype. it was the most mediocre stash sandwich I've ever had. only Steve's Prince Of Steaks was worse. the meat wasn't chopped up at all. big slabs of chewy meat. I like mine tender and chopped fine. being whole pieces of meat means it was kinda dry. if it was seasoned, I couldn't tell. I had no idea there was cheese on it. the roll was good but you know how things tend to slide out of a kaiser roll. I mean it was alright. and I couldn't finish it because it was so big, but not worth it. there are plenty of places where you can get a better sandwich.
the fries were good though. I did like the fries. couldn't finish them either because there were so many.

Best cheese steak this Virginian has ever tasted and those rolls are the bomb with freshness and able to keep the meat all inside. Well Done Camden, NJ and the heart still beats and waves back at Philly with confidence.

I honestly don't know what words to use to tell you all just how delicious the Cheesesteak and Small Seasoned Fries are!!!!!!! WOW so worth every dollar!!!!!! TY💯%Donkeys for the amazing meal👍❤

Long before I'd seen Bourdain visit Donkey's during his New Jersey episode, I'd already tasted the cheesesteak itself; I still agree with his assessment that it JUST might be better than anything over the bridge (sorry Philly!); leave it up to a weathered yet solid recipe, a quality cut of beef steak, that classic poppy seed bun, and the simple yet strangely perfect combination of American cheese (which can be whiz if you like for an upcharge). I prefer my onions on the side and have yet to be disappointed ONCE, their staff always take care to follow the special requests when you order. Overall, a 5-star ordering and dining experience; I've yet to find one fault, always finish my meal satiated & satisfied, & will remain a loyal customer for years to come
