Top tier Chinese food from Dumpling Alley. Ordered M07. 黑椒牛肉饭 Black Pepper Beef with Rice, the beef was tender,beautifully seasoned and had the a rich black pepper sauce. Had a GENEROUS serve of H01. 鸡茸玉米汤 / Chicken & Sweet Corn Soup which was perfect for these cold Melbourne nights. The standout was the C07. 叉烧包 BBQ Pork Buns (2pcs) which were stuffed with sweet roasted BBQ pork slices rather than minced or indistinguishable diced char siu pork. They were incredible. Thanks DA!

Everything I try from this place is exceptional. The G04. 红油抄手 / Chicken Wonton with Hot Chilli Vinaigrette (6 pcs) I've had several times and always deliver.
I09. 冬荫功海鲜汤面 Tomyum Seafood Noodle Soup was a first for me tonight and was one of the best Tom Yum soup broths I've had. I like that they separate the broth from the other ingredients so you can eat it like a hot pot.

Usually this place is really good, but maybe today was an off day. The fillings were underseasoned compared to normal (no detectable ginger or green onion flavour, not salted enough), and the dough on the dumplings felt like uncooked flour, not silky and soft like usual.
