This is not a typical Mexican food. Definitely authentic to El Salvador. Very delicious! The tortillas are from masa and the salsa is actually like a tomato consomme . Not spicy at all but very good. The Caldo de Res is chefs kiss

Desayuno El Carbonero is delicious authentic. Huevos Revueltos con Chorizo Salvadoreño o Mexicano with Salvadoerio sausage is so flavorful I don't even need Vaso de Salsa however the salsa makes it POP!! Everything is simply yumacious!!!!

I'm not sure I actually got the Pupusas Revueltas. I got a styrofoam container with two pupusas and they both tasted like queso. If that's what they were then they were fine. If they were supposed to be one of each, that I couldn't tell is a negative.
All the food was fresh and hot. The taste of the pupusas without the cabbage and sauce is bland. Maybe that's the way they are supposed to be. Put the add ons with them and it's good not great. I'll try them again but will do it in the restaurant so I can ask questions.
The carne guisada plate is excellent and worth ordering again.
Overall I am satisfied but not blown away. Definitely worth trying at least once if you're unsure.
