Food was delivered fast, communication was great! everything was hot and delicious! Kiddo loved the Chicken Tenders! My favorite was the One Chimichanga.

El Mesquite is hands-down, the best Mexican restaurant in Western Michigan. I have lived in several places throughout the country, including Grand Rapids for several years. I have tried multiple Mexican restaurants in that area and nearby. El Mesquite takes the premise mayor. The cheese dip...YES! The Parilla Burrito...HUGE portion. The food is extremely hot and fresh whether you eat in or grab to go. It's also been fresh for me when delivered at my doorstep. There is no other place in Spring Lake where I have found myself a consistent repeat customer. Beyond how amazing the food is, the fact that Luis, the owner, is often answering the phone when I place a to go order or at the register when I come in to pick it up, says a lot about the culture he's created and, in my opinion, one of several reasons the food is so delicious. Cheers to Luis, Mollie, and the rest of the staff who I have not had the privilege to interact with. To channel the great food critic Anton Ego: "I will be returning to El Mesquite... hungry for more!"

BEST carne asada tacos around! My favorite
go-to when i'm hungry. They give you lots of food too-no skimping. It's always fresh and hot! I eat here all the time and have never had a bad experience.

The Enchiladas Verdes was not good at all the chicken was so overcooked and very dry

They forgot the pico de gallo and guacamole that are supposed to be on the steak fries. They were still pretty good though.
