Every time I get food here I'm compelled to post that one "when them fajtas come out sizzlin'" meme because these folks ALWAYS do it up right. 10/10 for freshness, flavor, and nice big portions. God bless!!!

The quality of El Monte's food has dropped off. This used to be my favorite place to eat but my last couple of orders have not been their usual high quality. The street tacos were ok, but the refried beans were watery, a sure sign that they are trying to stretch them. I went into the restaurant last week and ordered cheese enchiladas and when my plate arrived the enchiladas were barely warm and the cheese wasn't melted. I won't order from here again.

Hardly any steak in the Single Fajitas. I could only make 2. I have ordered before this was terrible

Beef on the Street Tacos (3) were not tender and the taco salad was soggy and too wet. The salsa and chips were good.

The food is excellent but when I got it and opened the container it was a jumbled up mess. If the drivers can't be more careful with the food they're carrying then maybe the restaurant should consider different packaging that doesn't allow for the pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and refried beans to slop around into each other.
