Food Review: El Pollo Loco
It’s been a while since I had El Pollo Loco, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered the 4-piece dark meat meal, which came with 2 thighs, 2 legs, 2 sides, 4 flour tortillas, chips and dip, and a drink.
The packaging was neat and organized—though they forgot the napkins. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with a smoky, flavorful marinade that really stood out. The coleslaw was fresh and had a nice crunch, while the side salad with creamy cilantro dressing was surprisingly delicious. The chips were still warm and went great with the green salsa.
Overall, it was a satisfying meal that hit the spot. I’ll definitely consider ordering from El Pollo Loco again soon.

This item has been reduced in serving size for the second time in the past year. The food is good but if the size continues to decrease at this price point I may have to reconsider purchasing it.

For a family meal you can never go wrong the 8pc Fire-Grilled Chicken Family Meal. Good value for the amount of food you get

to start off no chips got 6 pieces of chicken an a quarter piece of bone. mashed taters were runny an water logged mac&cheese was 2 tsps no utensils or napkins

4pc Fire-Grilled Chicken Meal is amazing. Chicken is always moist and tender. I like that it's bone in. Add avocado salsas for flavor and heat.
