• 3/2/26I usually love their food but this time their much sauce in the dish and mushy vegetables and not much pork. The lo mein was very good though and so was the egg roll. I paid extra to get pork lomein instead of rice.

• 24/12/21En Lai is the best Chinese-American take out on both sides of the river. This is old-school Chinese take-out the way it should be. Crispy egg-rolls that are still hot. Flavorful sauces that aren't just sweet and gloopy. Fresh, crisp vegetables and nicely sized portions. Finished off with fortune cookies that aren't stale. Highly recommended.

• 13/12/25Sesame Chicken & Egg Roll Combo
The sesame chicken came out glossy and confident, coated in that familiar amber sauce that hits sweet first, then lets the soy and garlic creep in late. The chicken itself was fried well enough to keep a slight crunch under the sauce not soggy, not dry which tells me it didn’t sit under a heat lamp too long. Portions were generous, the kind that lets you know they weren’t counting pennies back there. The sesame seeds weren’t just decoration either; they actually added a mild nutty finish instead of being an afterthought.
Now the egg roll. This is where places either earn respect or lose it. The wrapper had a solid snap on the first bite audible crunch, good sign. Inside, the filling was balanced: cabbage forward, not greasy, with just enough seasoning to keep it from tasting like filler. It didn’t leak oil all over the plate, which already puts it above average.
Overall, this combo knew exactly what it was and didn’t try to be fancy. It delivered comfort, flavor, and value l the kind of meal that hits after a long day and makes you nod your head midbite. Not revolutionary, but reliable, satisfying, and worth ordering again.

• 31/1/26Spicy chicken is very good. Sweet and spicy combination. But sometimes it can be overcooked and greasy. Chow mai fun is one of my favorites! Always enough for 2-3 meals
