I would eat Sal's Philly Cheesesteak everyday and die happy (after not too long if I actually did). Best in LA that I've had. The only downside is the prices are a tad high for sandwiches, though they are big and the real deal. I'd rather pay a little more than get one of those fake subs with one slice of meat on a 20-inch thick bun. It'd be nice if adding extra cheese wasn't $3 though. The topped fries are awesome and taste really good, but inevitably the fries soak up all the toppings and lose their crisp, so keep that in mind.

I ordered the Fat Sal and added cheese and grilled onions and it hit the spot. I ate the whole sandwich which was HUGE and for the price I'm satisfied. They're open for late deliveries for munchies hour. And you gotta get the Fat Cookie!

Always hitting the spot for some late night food! Ruben sandwiches are fire. The fries are always bussin. The sizes are reasonable. Always fresh food and the Italian sandwich is always a hit . Definitely will order again

I like Sals but 2nd time I paid for extra avocado ($ 4 approx.) on chicken club and not only is there NO extra avocado, there's barely one little piece for the regular avocado. Without that (i use avocado instead of mayo for creamy) sandwich was once again dry!

Fat Jerry had lil meat no alot of shaved meat. 2 or one slice of bacon alot of ketchup, not worth the 20 sandwich price . Bread for heros are tough and hard to chew not fresh. chicken Fat Buffalo had lil ingredients. Wife had the Italiano she said it was good but i tried it and the bread was tough and also had lil portion of meat...
