I loved the salad - all chopped into tiny bite-sized pieces! I ordered an oatmeal cookie & got chocolate chip - but no worries - I loved it too.

Firehouse subs is my favorite sub place. I have eating firehouse subs in 3 differnt states from across the country and loved all of them. However, the firehouse on 210 in St. John County is the only firehouse subs I have ever had a bad experience with. We have ordered from there 3 times now and every time something is messed up. This time my Italian™ was slapped together, the bread was stale and it had little meat on it. The one in Durbin park is excellent. IDK what is up with this one but I suggest Door Dash stops sending order there.

I ordered a Smoked Turkey Breast medium and asked for banana peppers. I literally had one banana pepperon the entite sub. Im addition, 1/4 of my sub had ZERO MEAT. This is just not okaywith how much I'm paying.

Hook & Ladder.® was very good and Firehouse subs are good but they are very stingy with well everything we each had only 1 ring of onion I need sandwich and a slice of tomato the size of of aroma tomatoes sliced so thin it would flop over. The cheese I paid for double and wouldn't know I had cheese other than I could see some on the edge of the bread, very pathetic. They they are very stingy with their meat. You should get a decent amount of meat without having to pay for double and just a decent sandwich with items you can taste... I mean we are not quarterbacks we don't need a huge amount a Dagwood, but we need enough to feel like we have eaten. But yet when you pay for double meat they still don't seem to put it on there so there's no point in doing so and it's very sad to pay $20 for an $13 sandwich for extra meat and extra cheese. there's a lot of competition, all we ask is to know we are eating cheese and meat and condiments on our sandwich.
