• 25/1/25Fried chicken was delicious and crispy and juicy. The candied yams are out of this world good. The collard greens are good, not my favorite ive ever had but im also used to ones with hamhock and not turkey. I think since I ordered late they were out of biscuits but they replaced it with a side of mac and cheese (and extra chicken) which I am certainly not upset about lol. The mac and cheese was very yummy and felt almost decadent. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, not sure why they put all the toppings on it but it was pretty. The dip was bomb. Fried green tomatoes did get a little less crispy from being in the takeaway container but they were still tasty. Wish they had their koolaids to go also. Will definitely order from here again.

• 10/7/26Taste was just ok. It was fresh. The waffle and cinnamon butter saved the order. It was supposed to be 2 SMALL WINGS. Instead I received 1 undercooked, rubbery LARGE WING that looked like a small turkey!! Invest in smaller wings!! Everyone doesn't like horse wings!! I would not order again.

• 28/3/26This was my second time ordering from Fixins'. This experience was almost as perfect at the first except in the 3 Piece Plate ,the 2 chicken breasts were fried too fast in oil that was too hot. The crust was overcooked and too dark vs golden brown.What should have been crunchy was this side of being burnt and the meat drier than expected. The chicken leg however was undercooked and as shown in the pic, still slightly bloody at the bone and drained into the box. To be safe I chose to microwave the trio for 2 mins before eating. The sides: double Collard Greens and double Potato Salad were EXCELLENT as before. I think next go around I'll go with a Veggie plate instead. To their credit, the portions are ample and filling. I had leftovers both times

• 17/6/26The amount of food I received for $50 is insane. "Additional chicken" is $6 FOR ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN! For a catfish meal, you get one Fried Fish and Fritters meal is 1 piece of fish for $27! I just don't like the portion size at all for the cost

• 3/1/26The chicken was fantastic! Well seasoned and very juicy! The Fried Green Tomatoes were very good but kind of pricey for the amount they give you.
