Loved the adobo! Very different than any other adobo I've had without the hard boiled egg and with coconut milk in the broth but it was very delicious! The lechon kawali also remained quite crispy so that was a big okie! The pancit and lumpia were good.

we got the Lechon Kawali and were super disappointed to only find a small portion for 13 dollars. and it wasnt even good it was just average. for that price and amount, i'll order filipino food elsewhere.

I really wanted to give 5 stars because I'm Filipino and want to support a Filipino establishment! But that would be dishonest. Overall, overpriced for the taste and the portion sizes. Lechon Kawali was bone dry and one-note. Doesn't tickle the palate, doesn't taste like home. Same thing with the Pancit . Dry, bland, noodles congealed together. Not moreish, not exciting. Halo Halo is the only dish they got right for us this evening, but they didn't cover it properly, so so much of it was exposed to goodness knows what.
I was wondering why a resto with a Michelin citation only got a few ratings on DD (implying fewer customers wanting to leave praise). I get it now, the dishes + price combo don't encourage repeat orders. I do hope they improve these in the near future

I really do not leavi a bad review. iam a second gen oakland pinay who has brought many guests here with pride.
today my lunch was stringy with no fat or umami. to have it delivered was nearly 40$
a price i have paid before.
the rice was dry! and only pi of meat that was not the comfort food i was accoustome to. do better i have seen it.

The other reviewers are correct; the price isn’t worth the portion size. The Side Tortang Talong and Garlic Fried Rice lacked flavor, and the Suman wasn’t real 'malagkit,' which was disappointing since that’s why I ordered here. To top it all off, my Halo Halo was missing. There are better spots out there—wouldn’t recommend this place."
