Recently took myself on a Chicago sub tour where I got the same plain tuna sub from the most recommended places on Reddit. Fontano's ended up being my favorite! The bread is fresh, perfectly soft and chewy, never stale or too crunchy. I love their tuna salad because it isn't overloaded with a bunch of things but also isn't totally plain. Orders are always accurate, well packaged, and consistently delicious. Also their giardy is my favorite in Chicago!

Sandwich did not live up to the original Fontanos. It was slim on the meat (super thin) and maybe because of that the bread tasted different. I wont be ordering from this location anymore. Stick to the Polk st or 95th st spots. Pretty disappointing

Total great sub. One of the best anywhere. It's unmatched in the city if you haven't tried Fontanos you should. Great bread and fresh quality meats and fresh veggies

It's a great Chicago style thin crust pizza with great ingredients. As a native Chicagoan, I highly recommend this establishment. I order from here regularly and the available sizes are great.

U Create A Sub is skimpy and lacks flavor.
Red Skin Potato Salad can be saved. A little more mayo & paprika!!!Or mayo with a pinch of sugar.
Homemade Meatball Sandwich is disgusting. No mozz, green olives instead of mild giardinara. Over salted sauce and way too much of it. Bland meatballs. Sandwich paper stuck to the sandwich.
