• 1/4/22Fortune Five is by far my most favourite restaurant. I only tried their pork and century egg porridge and seafood porridge for the first time about 2 years ago and their chicken feet and Steamed pork ribs and omg they are sooo tasty! I would have gone a lifetime with never knowing how good those dishes are (especiall chicken feet which i would have balked at when i was younger) if it hadnt been for my lovely Philipino future daughter in law! I thought I'd try those dishes at quite a few other restaurants but NO-ONE comes even remotely close to those particular dishes in taste and value for money!! I usually try one other dish on their menu and it's ALL ALWAYS consistently good! I now order enough to freeze and defrost to eat every night of the week and rarely have something different. When I run out I order again and AGAIN IT'S ALL SOOOO GOOD!!! I can't thank you enough!

• 11/8/23I used to order from here every 3 or 4 weeks and stock up enough to eat my favourite restaurants food most nights until I ran out and had to order more. It was ALWAYS REALLY tasty and good value for money. Everyone seems to blame Covid but the prices have gone up and the quality and lack of previous ingredients gone down 😔 Very sad because it was my absolute favourite restaurant and I encouraged a LOT of friends and acquaintances to go there. But, my last 4 orders have been pretty mediocre (the time before last there was I piece of squid and one prawn in my usual seafood porridge... Which used to have scallops, and prawn and lots of fish and squid. I tried one last time tonight in the hope it was better but the prices had gone up more and there was meagre seafood in the "combination Special Combination Seafood Porridge"... To call the dish that is just wrong because you need a combination of seafood to name it!!! So sad. Looking for a new favourite now.

• 12/8/22Ordered beef Rice Noodle Soup with Beef Brisket and was not flavoursome and the flat noodles didn't match the soup. We added soy sauce but didn't make much difference. The Steamed BBQ Pork Bun was alright.

• 26/7/24Fortune Fu Five Special Fried Rice did not have any meat included despite listing 5 different types.
Deep Fried Salt and Pepper Squid Tentacles were seasoned nicely although there was a bit of oil in the bottom of the container.
Poor rating due to Fortune Fu Five Special Fried Rice not being as described.
