Food was super flavorful hot and fresh . The tilapia was grilled and seasoned with the right amount of spice so the spicy smoked flavor I was craving that is associated with West African cuisine was definitely present. The sautéed spinach was flavorful & tasty as it was prepared with an assortment of bell peppers and onions which paired very nicely with my fried plaintains 10/10 highly recommend!

Well prepared and packed ! Always consistent with the quality & taste . Great portions enough to have leftovers my 3rd order from this location. Highly recommend for the DFW foodies who are new to African cuisine

The Suya had a good flavor, but it was very dry and tough. There was something wrong with the Jollof rice. I don't know how to explain it other than to say that it tasted the way that ashes smell. I have no idea why. It didn't look burnt or anything like that, but it literally tasted like ashes. After looking at recipes for Jollof rice, I couldn't find any plausible explanation for why this would taste the way that it did, so I could only assume that there was some kind of problem with it. I didn't want to risk getting sick, so I tossed it out .
I hate throwing out food, especially when it's priced like this, so I doubt I'll be trying this place again.

I got the Vegetable Soup (Edikaikong) and Beef Shawarma. Both were really good! Good portion size and shawarma had good ratio of sauce, beef and sausage

I ordered my usual GrilledWhole Tilapia expecting what i posted previously to my disappointment, I received something entirely different. my grilled fish was instead fried, & covered in a sweet chili sauce compared to the smoked palm oil pepper tomato sauce it had before . The spinach was hard to enjoy the vegetables added to it were chopped in big chunks & were not cooked till tender. This was not bad but it wasn't good either. both my orders are pictured in my review
