The food was great, just like always. My sandwich was piled high with brisket and sausage. They also gave me plenty of pickles and onions. I really appreciate the fact that the plastic silverware was sturdy and not the cheap flimsy stuff.

very juicy and rich smoked flavor that every Texan will love this brisket. Never dried or hard.. it just melts away from your mouth.
More oily than meaty so definitely no no for weight control, but Oh No, you cannot stop.
I wish they improve on the quantity, but it is worth as the tastes dominate.

Ordered the Brisket Sandwich Combo. The brisket was great! Big sandwich with a lot of meat. The brisket was really good...tender and lean. I ordered beans, but they sent potato salad instead. It was very good also. I'll be ordering from here again!

Best brisket I've had in years. I used to go to Garrett's downtown weekly but since retirement I've not been near downtown. As soon as I saw the Southside location I'm all over it. Brisket was moist and fall apart on the fork tender.

Amazing barbecue and the sides are amazing. The smoked beans and potato salad are the best accompaniment to some really flavorful and tender bbq.
